At Tails Beyond Borders Foundation (TBBF), we believe compassion should guide everything we do. This Code of Conduct applies to all who represent our mission — volunteers, board members, ambassadors, and partners.

Act with compassion, professionalism, and respect when representing the Foundation.
Treat animals, shelter staff, fellow volunteers, and the public with dignity and kindness.
Help us maintain the trust of our community by upholding the highest standards of integrity.

Volunteers may occasionally learn sensitive information about shelters, animals, or donors. Please respect this privacy and never share confidential details outside the Foundation.

You may share our approved campaigns and public content.
Please do not post graphic or distressing images without explicit written permission.
Only designated representatives may speak officially on behalf of TBBF.

Be sensitive when sharing stories of animals in distress.
Avoid sensationalizing trauma. Share images and words with care, ensuring dignity and context.

Volunteers should avoid situations where personal gain could conflict with the mission of TBBF.

By volunteering with TBBF, you agree to honor these principles. Together, we create a safe, respectful, and compassionate community that reflects the values of our mission.
Certain volunteers and representatives with access to sensitive organizational or donor information are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. We ask all volunteers to represent our mission with dignity and avoid sensationalizing trauma. Violations of our values or policies may result in dismissal from volunteer duties.
